Recently, Wuxi Xue Tao Company has achieved solid results in its equipment upgrade and technological transformation of the Ma’anshan Road & Bridge Company. The Wuxi Xue Tao technical team undertook a green‑oriented modernization of the original 4000‑type virgin asphalt mixing plant, which was commissioned in 2009, successfully upgrading it to an integrated, environmentally friendly 4000+2000‑type hot‑recycling asphalt mixing station. As a result, the equipment’s performance has been comprehensively revitalized, and its production capacity has been further unlocked.

This renovation adheres to the principles of maximizing the utilization of existing equipment, reducing capital investment, and promoting green construction. While preserving the proven advantages of the original Type 4000 batch‑mix plant—namely its stable operation, high efficiency, and superior mix quality—it introduces new capabilities for recycling and heating reclaimed asphalt pavement, as well as precise proportioning and mixing. At the same time, the intelligent control system has been optimized to enable simultaneous production of both virgin and recycled materials. Following comprehensive system integration, process optimization, and trial‑run validation, the complete unit demonstrates excellent compatibility, stable performance, precise temperature control, and uniform material proportions, fully meeting current quality standards for road construction projects.

At present, the 4000+2000‑type integrated environmentally friendly asphalt hot‑recycling mixing plant has been put into regular operation, with stable and orderly production. Cumulative output of qualified asphalt mixtures has exceeded 20,000 tons, demonstrating that the results of the technological upgrade have been fully implemented and are delivering tangible benefits.

This upgrade and modernization not only effectively boosts equipment capacity and extends its service life, significantly reducing the consumption of new materials and the costs associated with solid waste disposal, but also markedly increases the recycling rate of waste asphalt. As a result, it delivers multiple benefits—cost reduction and efficiency gains, energy savings and carbon emission reductions, and green production—while providing the company with a robust, stable, and environmentally friendly production capacity to support future road construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
